217.4 but down 6 inches

Big increase in activity this week with two hour long skating lessons in the mix. I'm still dealing with the DOMS effects from that and it showed up on the scale today. However I'm also down a total of 6 inches since I first started to add activity to the mix three weeks ago so I'm going to call this week a win.

Today was also the first time since I returned to the program that I exceeded my calorie goals. Sometimes you just want the damned cheese AND the ranch dressing on the baked potato even if it will put you over by 200 calories for the day. I did it with full awareness that I was choosing to do so and I still kept my commitment to write down everything that goes into my mouth so I'm calling that a win as well.

Tomorrow is a new day and the plan includes more time on the skates at around 700 calories per hour so I'm not too worried about that 200 calorie blip being a problem by my next weigh in a week from now.

    Glad that your skating is giving you joy. 6 inches is SIGNIFICANT so you are going the right direction.

    As long as you went over calories, knew it and planned for it, shouldn't be a problem. We all have to live our life.
