"MY Non-Scale Victory"

Saturday, August 25, 2018

I've been on this journey for many, many, many years. Over time you just have to learn some things - even about yourself. Well, I've come to learn to acknowledge my new found 'self-awareness'!

I'm no different from many of you out there in 'cyberland'.... I have a bad day and it turns into a bad week! Well..... NOT ANYMORE! I have not the time nor the desire to feel bad about slipping on my plan. I am human and I make mistakes. Boy... that's big for me to say bc I would normally beat my self to death over a slip up! I am learning! I am learning!

I am also finding that I can be satisfied with a small piece of something rather than the entire bag! That's huge for me too. I normally just devour whatever and count the day as a loss and it carried over into a week (or two sometime).

I'm so glad to be learning and recognizing things that otherwise would keep me spinning in a circle like I've done all of my adult life.

Thanks for listening and hope you have a super fantastical weekend!

That's great! Learning new things about ourselves is important. You should be proud of the accomplishment.

And track on good days as well as those you chalk up to loss. That teaches as well. We are human and slip up every now and then. Go forward with courage and confidence! You've got this!
