September 10th...already!

Monday, September 10, 2018

Today is The Day...you know the day all the bills have to be paid! At least that is how I set it up and the best way to deal with it..One and Done!

Isn't that kinda like exercise for some. Dread it..avoid it..then finally accept and just DO it..
then find amazingly that you feel better, energized and even a lil bit proud of yourself!
I really like Pilates and try to set noon as the time I do them..but sure can find that I get busy and whoops..noon has passed and I must move on to something else..REALLY!! nah..can do those pilates any time..they are there waiting for me. Need to adopt the Marine saying...
No Excuses...or what Yoda said...There is no try ..there is only DO!!
For once done..I feel like I stand straighter, feel more balanced and tucked together, if that makes sense. So why not commit to getting it done? Duh..ran out of excuses..reckon I will just have to buckle down and DO!!

On a lighter side...took Molly for a fun car..errr truck ride today. She had been for a couple of car rides but they are always to the vet, and never in the truck. So today..got her halter on and headed out the door, not for a walk but for a truck ride. I tried the ole trick of put a treat on the floor to get her to jump in. OH NO..she was so intimidated by that big ole blue monster that no way was she gonna jump into that cave! I lifted her in..gave her a treat and buckled her safely in place. Then windows down we headed off down the road. First half of the ride she was laying down and rather unsure..but by the time we got about half way home..she was ready to bark at the neighbors donkey to tell him she was there and that was HER truck! She even jumped out without any encouragement. This may become a daily do when I go up to get the mail..just to get her comfy with the words...Car Ride!!

Chuee was not happy..he loves car rides and as soon as he saw the halter come out he was at the back door..butt wiggling and eyes dancing..Let's Go Mum!! Sadly he did not get to go this trip. Being unsure of how Molly would handle things this was a Molly only trip.

A few treats when I got home and all is forgiven!

Now I need to buckle down and get to doing business.. Have a good evening and a restful nights sleep..

Just noticed you were in Co. and stopped by to read your blog. I always feel so much better when I just get it done too, exercise, bills, work, all of it. Good points.

Hello there! I enjoyed your blog, and especially like the quote from Helen Keller. I just realized that we are on SEVERAL of the same teams: Living and Eating Mindfully, FitBit, and most recently the Virtual Walking Across Canada Team. I chose Alberta to get started on the walking- which did you choose? I will have to look for you on the team pages. Have a great week! emoticon
