Premium Coach Assignment - Excuses

Hello everyone.....Today my assignment is to cover my most common excuses that get in my way of my workouts and to counter each excuse to stay on track.

My number one excuse is Pain......I am in too much pain to exercise. I have neuropathy in my legs, feet and hands, I have arthritis along my spinal cord (neck to tailbone), and Osteoarthritis in both shoulders and both of my knees. I also get intracranial hypertension headaches. Sure with all of this going on I could throw in the towel and go back to the bedridden life that I fought to overcome in the first place. I have learned that if I keep myself active the pain is more manageable. I have also found I am in a much better mood having getting my daily exercise in a day. I exercise in the early morning and also just before the sun sets I get another walk in. I have seen such incredible sunrises and sunsets with my walks, if I am lucky I come across wildlife as well along the nature trail!


Number two excuse is I don't have enough time: I used to be so disorganized with my time. I learned in my Mary Kay meetings to schedule my time. A one hour work out is only 4% of your day! I know schedule my days in my planner and write in my exercise time, my meal times, and whatever I need to accomplish in my days. It was hard for me at first I felt I was restricting myself. It takes 21 days for anything you begin to become a habit. I now after a little after a year of doing this actually have more free time than I had with no schedule.


Those are really my two most common former excuses that got in my way of getting myself moving!
