Never did get the Colonoscopy. Lines are longer than you might think for that sort of thing, but I finally got in for the middle of October. Checkup last week went well and dropped a couple more pounds, but I still need to shake it up and get rid of that last twenty or so. Finally getting some deferred home repairs and computer maintenance done and am pretty much enjoying retirement for the most part. The one dark side is the seemingly more frequent funerals to attend, but I guess that's as much a part of life as everything else, but we just don't enjoy thinking about it. Everybody wants to go to heaven, just not today!
PS - Just got into the online patient portal and my labs for 9/15 were there... all normal and the one that tickled me most was the a1c at 5.0 for seven months of normal eating and exercise with *no* Diabetes meds. Yay!
