This morning , the Germans, as in dogs , went to the groomer--
It's always a difficult morning when this happens, as they seem to know, from the moment they get up, what is going to happen--
They pace--and then cry---and run to the door-
We don't produce their leashes, as that would only make the matters worse--
Himself does not work to-day also, so he rides "side saddle" in the front seat, advising me how to drive our car all the way there--
"-Watch out for that hole" and "don't back up so fast from the garage as you might hit the mirrors"---and "pass that truck ahead there"-he says---
Of course it's better for me to not drive too fast--and not pass trucks, with 2 huge animals sitting right behind us, which could end up on our laps if a moose ventured out onto the highway-
To-day is "Family Day" at one of the Grandchildren's schools--
Gramma (who is me)_ will be going there for lunch----Son#1 will be catering-and his wee daughter, our youngest Grand Child will also be there.
To-day I am in control of "the mouth"--(mine)---
You know it's really not easy being the Grandmother----
Lord love a Duck!--Someone has to do this--I guess the good Lord knew we could show extreme patience in difficult situations--
I won't let him be disappointed!
