Day 1 The journey begins. Feeling good about my plans to a slimmer, healthy lifestyle. I have more weight to lose than I care to admit, but at least I'm getting started. I hit a plateau for a time that I could not get past. No matter what I did I could not seem to shift an ounce. Take a week vacation, to see my son and his family. chase the grandkids, a 3 month old and an almost two year old, "voila" ! Weigh myself for the first time in a couple of months = down 4 pounds. The incentive was finally there again.....this was a sign to hop on the boat, start a plan to make those changes I've been thinking about for some time. So with the help of all the "Bright Sparks" here hope to stay focused and on the right path.

It is not going to be easy, but it is attainable. Make small goals and they will lead to big successes. You have to make you #1 and tell yourself that you are worth it.
