Half Marathon Training Day 1

I decided to train for a half marathon that my 12 year old son is training for. I have never been a runner. I have always disliked running, but I really want to do this.
I have sensitive knees so I was a little worried to start, but today went well.
I am following a couch to half marathon schedule I found online. Today was 30 minutes of running for 1 minute and walking for 2.
I am going to write about it every so often to keep track of how I feel along this journey.
