Moving Along

Colonoscopy complete, one polyp removed. Now it's time for the eye doctor next week. I imagine that will be cataract surgery on the right eye and I'll get to see if the retinal surgery worked.
Purchase of a couple small super-zoom cameras has renewed my interest in photography and now I have the bug for a drone. I think a slide show incorporating stills, short video clips, and drone shots will be my next project. I have also been digitizing my music collection and coming to realize that I have a lot of music. I'm finally utilizing the excess capacity of my most recent computer purchase. The next thing is moving my genealogy records from an older computer to this one and then developing a backup system. Think I'll get a safe deposit box to keep one in and switch it out monthly? Anyway, retirement suits me. Going on five years now and not bored yet.
The most important part of all this is that I'm sticking with my healthy living plan and it sure makes it a lot easier to enjoy the various hobbies without all that weight, weakness, and disease to drag me down. When you get much past sixty it's very likely you will experience health problems, but actively pursuing a healthy way of living sure does lessen the impact and duration of those problems.
