Sunday Adventure

Laying in bed Sunday evening I realized this is the last day I actually have to do something with F before I go back to work. You know with my screwy schedule it's quite normal to sleep at this time. I let him choose bike riding or hiking. Happy to hear he wanted to go hiking with daddy! So we filled up our Camelbaks and grabbed some supplies. We drove to a wildlife preserve and parked. We've been there once before and had a nice hike.


F and I managed to spook some wild hogs and I even got a short video of them. F thought he could talk to the hogs and reassured them to relax, hehe. A mama hog made the loudest squeal and it startled F. The trails are wide enough for a tractor and disk to go down and keep them passable. There's been a lot of rain so the trails became hazardous a few miles in and we turned back for the return trip. The fresh air really feels good in your lungs. I'm glad F enjoys the outdoors like I do.
