Y'all have a wonderful Thanksgiving week. Take it all in stride. This is a time to be thankful. We have so much to be thankful for: our decision to change our life for whatever your reason is. Mine is for better health and to get off some of these pills. For family and friends. This includes my Spark and Face Book families as well. For love, laughter and all the memories. I will be spending Thanksgiving here at home with youngest daughter, and her three kids and their families. Plus most work with the mentally diabled and one of the men that my grandson works with will join us. I will be making the turkey and dressing, plus few sides. They will all make the rest. One tradition is: each person has to tell what they are thankful for before our meal.
I will eat and enjoy the day, but also try to keep my sanity with all the good food surrounding us, lol. Doing a lot of prep work today. All the chopping and slicing/dicing. Tomorrow will be putting all side dishes together for the oven Thursday. Plus, will go ahead and set up extra table and put dishes/silverware out, and table cloth on.
When Thanksgiving is over will be hosting a Cookie/Candy exchange. Will have to get games planned and recipes from everyone printed. A lot to do on that one too. More fun and laughter.
Then its Christmas touring of all the lights. Setting up tree and decorating for this celebration. Thankfully I am almost done with Christmas shopping. Just waiting on most to come in. I made my grandkids and greatgrandkids memory photo books. I sure hope they like them. Need to pick up another skein of yarn for my "Prayer Shawl" I am making. I want to donate it to a cancer patient during the holidays. Figured the Chemo Lab could suggest someone that is alone.
Well, I talked your ears off today.
Y'all have a Sparktacular one.
Love and hugs.
