What did I miss?

Sunday, December 09, 2018

emoticon I guess not having live television or radio, I tend to miss current events. I am, however, on Facebook. I opened Facebook only to learn that apparently we are now OFFENDED by Christmas songs, one in specific. In fact, "Baby, its Cold Outside" is one of the few that I really do like and now I am curious on what is offensive?
Anyways.
So ya'll, don't feel as though you have reply, I just need to get things off my chest from time to time. Thanks for reading.

Red Skelton was a total gentleman and a lot classier than the toilet mouthed "comedians " that most are nowadays.

That song was first sung in a movie that starred Red Skelton. "Neptune's Daughter". I didn't even bother to see what the controversy was about now.

Red Skelton began in the circus when he was about 10, and was a leading man in movies during the 30s and 40s, long before he came to TV. He wrote many songs and TV scripts. He was also an excellent painter.
