What a difference a Year Can Make!
Friday, January 04, 2019
Over this past year, I have focused on the possibilities and the goodness of life. I have gained an attitude of gratitude, and I've let go of anger.
Yesterday, my friend Mike pointed out how a year ago, I harbored hurt feelings and some anger towards people who have hurt me in the past. People who have questioned my motives, and my use of time and money. I still don't understand why these people feel the need to criticize me and put me down. Over the past 12 months, I have found a way to take that anger and use that energy for positive purposes.
What did I do? I blogged on SparkPeople, and I'm writing a book. I did not have enough motivation in myself to write a whole book, but I have used the book as a place for me to explain myself and to understand myself. The book is appropriately called "Piecing It All Together". This past year has helped me to find freedom from anger and hurt. In the process of healing, I have a book to show for it.
What a difference a year can make. I changed a lot last year, and I'm looking forward to 2019, and the changes that I'll make this year!
