National Puzzle Day
Monday, January 28, 2019
This is our assignment for the Aspire and Inspire sparkteam: January 29th is National Puzzle Day. National Puzzle Day honors puzzles of all size, shape and form. From jigsaw puzzles to crossword puzzles to Sudoku, there are many different types of puzzles. They fit the needs of every person, and every skill level from easy to expert. Do you like to do puzzles? Why or why not? What is your favorite kind of puzzle to do, and when do you usually like to do puzzles?
I love all kinds of puzzles. To me they are fun to figure out. Our daily newspaper has four kinds of puzzles in it, and I often do them: crossword, jumble, sudoku, and cryptoquote. One of my favorite types of puzzles is called kakuro. It is not so common, but I can buy books of it on Amazon. It is a math and logic puzzle. I also like jigsaw puzzles. For Christmas I received a jigsaw puzzle box that actually contained ten different jigsaw puzzles. I’m still working on those. My mother and aunt and I all love jigsaw puzzles, so whenever one of us gets one, we share it with each other. Puzzles are great!
