Remember that song? Theresa Bruyer --I can't spell her name)-
My Dad used to sing it to me--
So, I did survive the snowy ice trip home from the dog groomer yesterday.
Himself rode "side saddle"--
Thank yu to all who were concerned as to us, heading out, on such a terrible day---
I was thinking of staying home---safe!-
Then, I heard Himself saying, "Come on, we have this appointment."
-and I remember a friend of mine, "Dorothy" , telling me, that I could so anything (driving) if I drove slowly ---
Living in the north, there is very little traffic on the local highway to town --mostly moose and deer---and a few trucks with trailers with ski-doos behind them on trailers--
The worst part of the whole trip to the groomer, was Beau, who will not sit still--whines and cries and tries to jump over the back seat to be with Tess, and Himself insists on watching the road in front, --NOT --Beau in the back--
But we did it-- there and back---even with "white out " conditions ---
Yesterday, I shovelled---and shovelled and shovelled---
Himself blew Po-paths for the Germans---I think Spring is somewhere-certainly not here!
Son#2, the air Canada Pilot is off to LA --and back, to-day ---Perhaps he can see if there is Spring like weather near here---He called at 6am to say he was at the Airport-
AND_--- we have sunshine -minus 20 C----
I appreciate all your concern yesterday , for our safety in a winter storm--
Lord love a Duck!-- Even, Himself, with his "soon come" expression and not the designated driver, thought "every little thing will be alright!"--
He must be a Jamaican!
