Speed Bumps

Monday, February 11, 2019

Yesterday I had a wonderful morning with my girlfriend and her kids, however I also fell, I was more embarrassed about it because it was in the indoor playground and I slid right off the bench because I wasn't paying attention. Long story short I slid my body into another set of chairs and a table, I hurt my back which is an ongoing problem anyways and this weekend was a little rough for it with the decluttering. Anyways I woke up this morning and it hurt, physically hurt to stand and walk, wasn't sure if it was just the back or the fall or just the strain on the body over the weekend.

I am used to a certain level of pain but this was to much. I went to go take a nice hot Epsom salt bath and looked in the mirror and my left ribs are all swollen and purple in color apparently I go them good. Now everything made sense to me on how I was feeling, lol. I am my own worst enemy if there is a way to get hurt I am going to find it.

I was not able to work out today but I did putter and move to try and help loosen me up a bit, a rest day kind of important I think.

Another speed bump on my journey however I am used to speed bumps because I seem to overcome a lot of them and I guess that is the importance of my progress; they are speed bumps that slow me down but I am not quitting and I ate great and am proud about that.

Hoping tomorrow is a lighter pain day with less pills. emoticon
