I started to get real serious with my sodium.
This started a little while ago bc I was having issues with my blood pressure again.
I didn't want more meds. Im on enuff.
So I'm learning and researching.
I was shocked to learn there's sodium in a fresh lime. I shouldn't have been there is sodium in everything even spices.
And do u know of u used canned beans because for whatever reason by rinsing and place in a colander let sit a few mins and repeat, u can reduce the sodium by up to 41 %.
I've been doing well though with it staying under 1200. Once I think I messed up but it wasn't terrible like b4.
This is what I love about logging and being able to put ur own info in on ingredients.
