if losing weight was as easy as wash/rinse/spin

Thursday, February 28, 2019

Yesterday was a good day. The weather was great compared to what we have dealt with over the last few weeks.
I walked a full 2 miles at the track and 4 for the whole day, I could do better but it was great just to be outside.
So, today I got on the scale and while I was down a pound, I am still feeling a little disappointed.
I KNOW it is my own fault. Its been 2 weeks since I last weighed and I know I ate pizza and other things I shouldnt have.
I could have done at least 4 or 5 more lbs lost.
I have to really step things up if I expect to get back down to my FIRST goal.
Which from this weight is still 25 lbs to go.
It makes it even harder knowing that those lbs are weight i RE-GAINED.
So, all I am focusing on right now is getting back to where I was and then going from there.
I CAN do it, I did it already and doing it again seems daunting but I know its possible.
But for now....laundry!!!

Darcy-B, I agree, I am always walking around my house even when I have done my walk for the day. I just walk. After dinner I walk around cleaning up and moving around to get my steps in as well as to help digestion so I dont wake in the middle of the night with reflux.

Well you know exactly what it was, pizza "and other things". Food is critically important to weight loss.

One pound down is still very good. Imagine if it was two weeks and a pound up rather than a pound down. Feel good that it is pound down. In the next week keep, "begin with the end in mind".

Laundry is moving around. Moving = increased fitness. I like sneaking in steps and exercise. It does good things for me.

Yes, it is daunting to have to re-lose weight already previously lost (I'm re-losing the 100 pounds I lost a few years ago). But you're so right... this is absolutely do-able! You've got this.
