What's the greatest chapter in your book?

Losing weight is hard enough, but when you are trying to lose the same weight, yet again, its even harder. Especially since each pound you lose, get on the scale, it reminds you of the time in your life when you were losing easier. When you were sick or happy, or upset, or lonely or whatever it was that was going on in your life at that time.
People who say forget your past, move on, let it go, are kidding themselves.
You can never really let go of your past because it is a part of your person.
It molded you into something better or maybe worse.
You just live.
You just get up everyday and do today.
But at some point, during the day you are reminded of something that happened, once upon a time.
Right now, I am just trying to go back in time. As far as weight goes. I am trying to get back to the same weight I was at 2 years ago.
I have 24 lbs to go.
That is my current goal. I will work on the next goal when I finish this one.
Each time I remind myself of the number I am trying to reach, I remember the time in my life when I was at that number.
It was without a doubt the hardest most stressful time I ever went thru and some of that weight loss was stress related,
I survived it. I am still here. Maybe I used food to help get me thru the worst of it. But I am here, alive, well and still trying.
I just want to get down to that number so I can move on from there and make new memories, better. happier.
But I am happy today. Lost another 1 pound.
