Getting Nutrition Back on Track

Tuesday, March 12, 2019

Over the next few days I am going to revisit my eating habits and get back on track. I know I have been eating some things that are not 100% great for me (like tootsie rolls). But I am committed to losing weight for the next challenges and am going to buckle down and eat better.

I will get back into tracking ALL my food and planning my meals for the week.

I am going to be eating more fruits and vegetables, less sweats and making sure I do not eat larger portions than I should be eating. I have a little scale so I will make sure I weigh all my meals to make sure I am not over eating. I know how many oz. of everything I should be eating – so I just need to measure it to make sure I’m on the right track.

I will make sure that if I need a snack after dinner that it will be a good health snack instead of above mentioned tootsie rolls.

I will eat better, I will get better and I will kick butt!

With my already good exercise habits I need to get my eating habits under control so I can lose this weight once and for all. I know I can do it!

Debbie- I'm right there with you! Trying to weigh and measure everything gets old but if I don't do it my portions grow larger and larger as time goes by. I need a food reality check! You can do this!! We both can emoticon

This makes me happy. My health community believes that the food we choose is even more important the exercise we do, although both are important. I have learned that I need to stay away from most carbs in the forms of breads and processed foods and junk. I feel SO MUCH better and lose the weight best when I eat as natural as I can. This has been proven again and again. Good luck with your tracking. I know that the SP tracker is great. It taught me that I was eating too much fat, but now I really know it is the carbs I need to lower. I must get in and adjust my tracker, I guess. emoticon

You can do it! Try reading up on mindfulness techniques for mindful eating. That is what I want to start doing because I really think that it is very much a mental state that needs to be achieved in order to succeed at weight loss.

You can definitely do it! You've already got the exercise figured out and that's the hardest part. And all those points you earn by tracking your food and exercise will help our amazing team! emoticon

As with so many things..it is so easy to slide back into a "grab this and go".
but you have the right mind set...and can do it..so grab that brass ring and swing gal!!
