Our case is continually gaining attention

Saturday, March 23, 2019

Yesterday at the warrants hearing the judge asked why this case has taken this long. The detective explained the parents are not at fault and the system failed them and especially their daughter. Because of her handicap the complaints were not handled efficiently. The calls Her mom made to the police were not taken seriously and there was no follow up by his department. (Didn’t say if he let the judge know I had to go thru the sheriffs department) The department has apologized to the parents and admit failure on their part and the chief is making drastic measures to prevent this happening to another family. The judge said had this been handled correctly the victim would not have been continually being abused and could have been stopped back on the first incident instead of waiting until it involved 3. (which everyone agrees). Bond set at 40,000 each. The jail has been notified arrest on Monday.

It's absolutely horrible all that you and your family, especially your daughter, has had to go through!
    Nothing short of a nightmare.
There are no excuses for the gross lack of attention by the police department; heads should roll.
Their lack of immediate action caused more aggravation and assault on your daughter.
Are there other victims? Seems likely the perpetrators prayed on more than just your innocent daughter.

I hope after the arrests are made, you will feel some measure of justice has been, at long last, served.
I wish you and your family well and brighter days ahead!

Wow, to hear all this admitted to is amazing!! And to hear them admit that they dropped the ball. Wow. You have achieved a monumental feat by your persistence and refusal to give up. And, yes, I know it has been tough beyond words. Big hug.
