Yes. However, NOT green tomatoes - and be careful with tomato products as they may contain things like sweeteners such as Xylitol, which can (and has recently here in England) kill. The Viszla ate two brownies when the owner had left the box on the table. It was a tragic case and in spite of vets doing everything they could, the dog died 5 days later. Also, it's as well to judge the quantity of tomatoes according to the size of the dog. My Old English Sheepdogs go berserk for tomatoes and oranges!
The list of toxic and lethal foods for dogs grows steadily. My 92years old mother doesn't understand that raisins are poisonous for dogs, and keeps sneaking fruity breakfast cereal to her two little dogs (she can' grasp things and forgets too, owing to a bad memory.) Apple pips in quantity are toxic too - but my dogs adore apple cores and the quantity in one core for Old English Sheepdogs has no effect.
