Tweaking not Twerking

The Spring 5% Challenge is almost ready to begin. I have done most of the pre challenge activities. Here are some of the things I have done. Updated my page a bit but can't wait to earn some new badges with my Firecracker team. The best, most supportive team every, ok so I might be biased. I took my measurements which seem to be a better indicator for me than the scale. I've recommitted to the Spark Diet with a few modifications and dusted off my exercise gear.
During the last challenge I discovered all those excuses that I could not walk more than 6,000 steps was just a story I told myself. With the support of a side challenge among some of us Firecrackers doing a FitBit challenge I found out I could easily up my steps to 8,000 then 10,000 steps. It just meant more small bouts of 10 minute walks. I have hip and foot issues. I would say old age but that would be another excuse. People tell me I can't be my age and I say it is because I have the SPARK! I am now walking around 11,000 plus steps a few days a week.
So get ready teams, the Firecrackers are lighting their fuses. We will be blasting off soon and watch us Sizzle not Fizzle! If you missed out sighing up for a 5% Challenge team be on the look out for the next round.
