10 days of low carb

Lost the weight from yesterday, plus another .2 lbs.. down to 282. Overall, I am at 17.4 lbs. in 10 days. Feeling great. Got a lot of stuff done at the office. My BP is perfect, and my BG is slowly dropping.

I went to the library, and got a couple more books to read, and spent the afternoon doing that. At night, I watched VICE, about Dick Cheney. Not a bad movie, but not great either. BY 10 p.m., I was too tired to make my blog, so I am doing it currently, as my food for the day is cooking. Chicken, tomatoes, mushrooms, and green chiles. I bought some onions for the rest of the week.

I am always amazed at how quickly I lose on LC, as well as the lack of any cravings. It's great. I have no idea why I fall off the wagon. One day at a time though. So far, so good.

Hope everyone had a great day. Today is supposed to be warm, so it's looking positive so far. Enjoy the day.

    DLD - Make sure to drink enough water. Especially if you are losing quickly, since at the beginning, LC has a diuretic effect. People get dehydrated and their muscles start to ache, and they get headaches. I make sure to drink 12 glasses of water for the first 2 weeks, then drop back to 8.. drink about 50% more at the start. That should help some.

    Thank you for posting daily about your low carb journey. I started low carb on Monday and feel like crap. It's good to know that you came out of the funk by about day 6. Keeps me optimistic.
