April 6, 2019 ALL THE ANIMALS
We can’t go far without seeing some type of animal in this world. We enjoy going to the zoo or watching a show about animals. Some animals were made for us to take pleasure in. Others were made for us to eat. While others we try to stay away from because their purpose is to live in the wild. Each animal has a purpose. God created each of them for good. We may not understand the purpose of all animals; however, we can believe God created them. We don’t have to know God’s plans or reasons to believe in Him.
Genesis 1:24 “Then God said, ‘Let the earth produce every sort of animal, each producing offspring of the same kind—livestock, small animals that scurry along the ground, and wild animals.’ And that is what happened.” (NLT)
1. Write your thoughts about animals.
2. List the animals you encounter the most.
3. Honor God for His creation of animals.
4. Believe in His reasons for each animal He created.
Dear Lord, we are so thankful for the animals on this earth. We may not know the purpose of each one but we do know You created them and You have a reason for each one. Help us to remember to give You glory each and every time we see an animal You created. Help us to take care of them as You have called us to do. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Even when God allowed the flood to happen, He choose to keep the animals for the people to eat and sacrifice.
Genesis 7:8 “With them were all the various kinds of animals—those approved for eating and for sacrifice and those that were not—along with all the birds and the small animals that scurry along the ground. (NLT)
We are to care for animals as God has called us to do.
Proverbs 12:10 “The godly care for their animals, but the wicked are always cruel.” (NLT)
God was pleased with His work when He created the animals. We should take pleasure and remember He created every one of them.
Genesis 1:25 “God made all sorts of wild animals, livestock, and small animals, each able to produce offspring of the same kind. And God saw that it was good.” (NLT)
