One day at a time

Today is a new day. I got back on track yesterday by starting where I could - I exercised for 15 minutes. This morning I got up and walked 15 minutes again. I am planning to do more later today, but if I don't, at least I did something.

I checked my weight yesterday. Currently, I am at 160 lbs, 27.7% body fat, and 29.4% muscle mass. My goal for next Friday is to drop 1.4 lbs, bringing me to 158.4 lbs.

Nutritionally speaking, I will be taking salads to work more often. I am in a position now where I actually have sufficient time to eat healthy, instead of trying to bolt something down in 10-12 minutes so I can get back out on the manufacturing floor before the bell rings for end of break. (My previous position was a two minute walk to get from the work station to the lunch room, cutting into my lunch time significantly.) I am also going to cut down on the junk food next week. I should be adjusted to the new schedule enough that I won't need soda to keep me going through the day.

I am also going to get back on track with water. I know I am not drinking enough, but I will keep trying until I am getting 8+ glasses in a day.

I am going to try to post something every day. I don't know if I will be able to or not, but I am at least going to try.
