TUESDAY, APRIL 9TH 2019. MIND, BODY AND SPIRIT.
Thursday, April 11, 2019
When I left home on Tuesday, my goals were to cultivate my whole being thru Yoga, Weight Machines and Zumba class, but those radioactive old ladies at MY Senior Center had other plans. I'm possessive, so it's MY Senior Center as it is MY park. Also MY old ladies (MIS viejitas).
I went very early to my Yoga class. The teacher couldn't go for a couple of weeks and I learned to appreciate her a lot. She is the most compassionate teacher in the world, so as a sign of respect I wanted to be there long before her. But it was a county event in the Center and the parking lot was full. So, I had to park in a nearby mall. Good side? I walked quite fast from there to the Center, burning a couple of calories.
Yoga classes are serious, so I didn't take a picture of the actual class, but one of me AFTER the class, with my wonderful Yoga bag. A selfie on the mirror, teenager style.
As usual, Yoga increased my appetite and after my spirit was so purified, I committed the horrible sin of eating a gluten-full pastry spinach turnover and sweet plantain chips. In addition, I sat down to talk to some ladies and arrived late to my Zumba class
In that picture, my endorphins were high and I was quite happy, but at midnight, I got (another) flare of diverticulitis, so on Wednesday 10th, I was all day on the bed. I couldn't do anything, not even stretches. I only could make a chicken bone broth to help my liquid diet.
