Best Made Plans

Almost a month ago I was making plans for the Spring 2019 5% Challenge. I was supper excited to get started again with my team. I just love the Firecrackers!

A few days later I injured my shoulder then my hip and finally developed sciatica. Eventually the shoulder and sciatica got better but my hip has been improving much slower. It has been a struggle meeting my step goal and some days it just isn't happening. Today is one of those days. There is pain no matter what I do.
To add insult to injury I've been dealing with allergies, asthma and now a really bad chest cold.

I feel like throwing in the towel. But Firecrackers don't give up. So I will power through, post what I can and not let the Spark fizzle. I just need a little kindling to get the flame going. emoticon emoticon

    I'm sorry you have had such a rough time this time around:-( It's frustrating to get injured right before or during a challenge, especially when you're so motivated. You've done a great job, doing all that you have done. I hope you are feeling better soon. emoticon emoticon emoticon

    Firecrackers stick together...we are here for you. If you are in pain, do not over do it, you could cause more damage. You can keep up with the other goals that are not exercise. I hope your hip feels better soon.

    If your shoulder is feeling better there are several arm exercise videos with Coach Nicole that are seated. Modify anything that you cannot perform ~ example I only do wall push ups right now to the videos and modify the tricep dips. It will give you fitness minutes and stay indoors to avoid the pollen.
