Back on track

The past 4 weeks have been a mess. I had to work first shift for training in my new position, and I was literally up before the birds. (If the early bird gets the worm - he is more than welcome to it!) I had difficulty adjusting to the early schedule. However, I am now back to my normal schedule, and being up early made it easier for me to get up on time now. 6 AM doesn't seem so bad when you have been getting up at 3 AM for several weeks!

Anyway, I got up, worked out, and am now eating a healthy breakfast. I have also logged my foods for the day, and I have prepped my oatmeal for the rest of the week. I also have my freezer stocked with black bean soup and lentil stew in single serve size containers for me to take to work through this week and part of next week. My husband and I also sat down and planned meals for the week, so I also know what is coming up for the rest of the week.

I feel like I am off to a great start!
