"70 percent of Your Immune System is in Your Digestive Tract"
Wednesday, May 01, 2019
I received a vitamin catalog yesterday that intersperses info throughout its pages. I wasn't surprised to read about the digestive tract since that's where the most serotonin is; so it seems that area is way more important than I ever imagined. No wonder, when I was eating sugar and similar other junky carbs, I would feel like my immune system was compromised shortly afterwards. Kinda like feeling weak. The sugar really did make me feel weak. It feeds nothing but cancer cells (as I've read in several places). Poison.
Harry wants to thank all who sent messages and goodies to make his 15th birthday purrfect. It was a landmark birthday for a cat I never dreamt would be this durable for health reasons.
After several days without pool aerobics, I am pain free. The big experiment will be going to that class later this morning. It seems to trigger whatever remains to be healed and cause a lot of pain. I followed advice given on a prior blog and tried to concentrate on upper body exercises. But it's something about the water pressure against my body that the hip doesn't like. I'll see how it goes.
Wishing us all a happy, healthy month of May.
