Yay for wipers that work!

Thursday, May 02, 2019

When Hubs was home, he "fixed" the passenger wiper on the little car. It totally stopped working in the thunderstorm the other day. Sigh. Scheduled it in the shop today, expecting it to be stripped and need a new motor (after all, when I suggested to Hubs that he should maybe tighten the nut when he finished "fixing" it, he gave me THAT look emoticon )

Anyway. Shop took less than 3 minutes. It needed the nut tightened. Best part? No charge. I've got a great mechanic.

And Hubs tries. When I called and told him what it took to fix? He said "maybe next time I should listen to you, huh?" He's a goof, but I love him.

Now, to get the ptsd more under control so I can actually GO somewhere.

Have a good one, sparkies! emoticon

We were up in Ohio a few years back to see my dad. We were driving in a torrential downpour and the windshield wiper flew off and was gone down the road. Thankfully we were near a auto parts store, poor guy had to go out and put new windshield wipers on in the rain, I hope he had a change of clothes at work.

Our husbands try but they would be so much better off if they would just listen to their wise wives. My dh has told me so many times that he wishes he had listened to me. LOL!
