My boot camp challenged everyone to join their Whole Eating Challenge for 2 days. It is the Whole30 program BUT only for 28 days AND they give you a "cheat" night - every Sat night you can have whatever you like.

It was a big shock on Monday morning to make my coffee in the Keurig and only have coconut milk to put in! No bread, grains, dairy, corn, soy, sugar. But the worst for me is no sugar substitutes. I have been going crazy for my Diet Pepsi. Tomorrow when I can have anything I want, I will run straight for the Diet Pepsi bottle!

My boot camp asked everyone to donate $28 to join and they donated the money to a children's charity. So it is a win win!

I have to be super organized and have all the food prepared on the weekend. I usually do that, be now I have to make sure to have lots of salads, veggies, almond and coconut milk, eggs, etc.

I am attending boot camp 5 days a week also, so working on my HIIT training - tons of strength training!

And, very exciting - I got a Cuisinart air fryer! They were half price, so I decided to splurge! I can't wait to make a big batch of sweet potato fries. I made Whole30 mayo (which I LOVE!) and whipped up some chipotle mayo with it. That will go great with my fries!

    I liked this Blog, I can learn to apply dome of it for myself. I know I know... coffee with coconut milk.. I do it, too rightnow with almond milk... it tastes so empty early mornings still using 1/2 tbsp of heavy cream 🙄 I hope I get it right again.

    OHHH!!! I plan on making the mayo today. I'm a little scared because raw eggs but I'm going IN! hahah. I have a feeling I'm going to love it. Chipotle mayo sounds yum. Thanks for stopping by today! I was about to make my page private (somebody was trying to start a debate/argument (it's a trigger for me) and I was not interested. When I saw your comment, you reminded me most people aren't like that here.) Thanks! You unknowingly plucked me out of the deep end.

    Low carbing and I don’t miss sugar and simple carbs at all, but then again I do allow myself the odd indulgence, as last night for our dinner party....

    It seemed to take me FOREVER to break my diet cola habit. I fear that it would only take a sip to get me hooked again, so I stay away! Now when I want something other than water to drink, I have unsweetened tea with a splash of fruit juice.

    I think what I missed most on Whole 30 was my whole grains and my black beans. Both are pretty much daily staples for me.

    You are so right about the importance of meal prep on Whole 30!
