P is for Prayer

Sunday, May 05, 2019

This is the belief of our church leadership regarding buildings. They have been wanting to move to a different location since before we began attending about a year ago and they received an offer this past week. Instead of jumping right in they have chosen to make May a month of prayer to be sure this is right or not. They have had their eye on another site for a long time and the building owner wants to sell it, but the land it sits on is owned by someone else and they don't. So each Sunday there will be a prayer walk around that site after each service and time in the current sanctuary. They are then asking everyone in the church to pray for God's will in this as well. Jim (pastor) said he loves that things are where they are right now with the Board (exhausted all avenues in the area) as there will be no chance of anyone being able to take credit for any type of movement.

Once home I got busy on the weekly meal plan before putting something together for lunch. Afterwards I got a couple documents ready for Maegann and then got both kids to help me move items from the front porch back into the garage. Now I'm just hanging out with Maegann while Tim does some work in the garage so that we have light and door openers again. We both agreed the garage was the priority of "what to do first".

Maegann had another rough day at work and she is going to look into a job opening at a Salon in Meridian. It's a high end Salon and they were one that came for "interview practice" day at school so she has a contact. She is sad that things have gotten so bad with her boss and the head cook as she really enjoyed this job.

Isaac had a good time camping, but he is exhausted. He did get the lawn mowed before he went to hibernate in his room.

Tomorrow the house will be empty by 7:20 and I've got my grocery pick-up time set for 8-9 and then I can be home. I have to make a vet appointment for Auggie, do some cleaning and then get busy on paid work.

It is tough when work is rough. Hope things improve or that an even better opportunity opens up at the salon or another place that God has in mind for her.

Praying for the month of May is a very wise choice.

Sorry that the job is starting to not go well with Maegann. The new possibility sounds like a good opportunity though. I hope that all goes well!

    Janet,

I am not there physically but in spirit, I will be walking with you and your family and I will be praying also.

Maegann sure is getting one good education with the world concerning different people and jobs and her eyes are being opened. That's a good thing because it will only help her to make better decisions for herself.

I am glad Isaac had a good time with Nate and his family as he really needed that time. It's good that he came back totally exhausted from such a good time and it's even better that he got his chore of mowing the lawn done before he crashed.

Things are all going well even if it doesn't seem like it from others looking on because GOD has all of you!!!!

    Blessings!
