In the last 4 months I’ve been able to resume walking enough to focus on 10,000 steps a day, which is good news. It’s been a difficult year with an injury, the effects lasting for months, and repeated physical therapy; I thought the pain would never lessen. This sure derailed my weight loss efforts, and while I was feeling sorry for myself, I resumed after dinner snacking, a habit I’d fought to break. emoticon
Now I’m ready to pay better attention to what I eat and when. My commitment to myself is to log every bite on the nutrition tracker and work towards a healthy balance, while sticking to my calorie range. Our two new family members are further motivation to get outside and move.

I sure relate to an injury and persistent pain derailing you! My hip bursitis put me on the sideline for so long that even though I feel better, I can't seem to push myself. My couple walks with Nala are pretty much the extent of my walking. I am glad you are getting your motivation back and perhaps that will Spark me to get back on track!

Love the picture of the 2 new family members. Looks like they are posing just for you. :-)
Hoping you can get back on track. I have the same problem, liking my evening snack.

emoticon I am rooting for you. I still have problems of eating in the evening too. I am trying to replace the empty calories with veggies but do not win that battle often enough. Have a great day!
