This is our assignment for the Aspire and Inspire sparkteam: National Daylight Appreciation Day is observed each year on June 21. This day recognizes summer solstice (the longest day of daylight in the northern hemisphere) and encourages people to celebrate the many benefits of the sun. What can you do to enjoy more daylight? Do something outdoors today and share some photos.
I love the longer days of summer! Today to celebrate the summer solstice I went for a walk in a local park in a neighboring town. It’s simply called Municipal Park. My favorite part of the park was the covered bridge they have there. It was originally built in 1900. Here are some pictures.
