My Day Of Rest

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints and we believe that Sunday is our day of rest from our weekly cares and that we should keep the Sabbath Day holy. I’ve decided that it’s more important for me to keep the Sabbath Day holy so I will not be tracking, I will notbe blogging, I will notbe exercising or joining in on any Spark Teams activityies also, The one thing I will be doing is still eat health, but I am allowing myself a dessert that I’ve been craving. I did this before and it orked beautifully.Just knowing that I could a dessert kept me on track all week long. I eventually got to the point where I didn’t even want one. Little did I realize that I was empowering myself. Empowering myself over trigger foods. I was empowering myself that I was in control of what I ate. I took away the control that desserts could have over my weight loss. I was setting limits. Just as I did with eating desserts, I feel that by giving me a day off, I’m giving myself a day to renew myself for the upcoming week.

    Enjoy your day of rest and faith. Yes, depriving yourself of everything you crave can lead to a binge. Instead, allowing things in moderation is a better approach.
