So exhausted, but feeling great!

Wow three days and no check-in, but I'm proud of me I continue to make healthy choices and I'm remembering my 8 or more glasses of water every day. Checking the fat and carbs too, my Nana still laughs but knows how important this is to me. Life has been busy, but busy or not calories and things must be counted and things need to be measured, lol.

Doctors appointments have become the norm, but they are helping keep my Nana healthy so that I will never complain about. I just seem to get behind on cleaning and other things. Daughter lost her job a week ago but is now working again at a job she had about 6 or 7 months ago, they decided they needed her back (apparently she is a wiz at cleaning toilets. Lol) I'm dealing with things at times becoming a little overwhelming so I decided to take a minute for myself and just do a little check-in, not only on Spark but with myself.

I'm good for the first time in awhile, while things are overwhelming I'm handling it, and letting go of the things I have no control over, which for me is a huge step. I used to believe that I needed to have control over the things in my life or it would never go the way I wanted it too. Took me a long time to figure out that I may not have control over the things in my life but it's still a good life and maybe the way I think my life should go or be, isn't how it's supposed to be. I need to think that hey you've got a roof over your head, clothes on your back, and food in your stomach, and you are making strides towards a healthier way of life.

I finally came up with a pretty big goal, and that is to save for a vacation for myself for sometime next year, I may get some help with the finances in the next few months but I'm going to start saving now. I would like to go visit some friends in either California or in Texas I can only choose one place, which stinks but either way I will have vacation and I will be with people I care about. Maybe I can visit the group of friends that I didn't see later in the year and have a shorter second vacation, who knows.

Ok well life beckons lol, laundry and other chores that need to be done since we have people coming over on Saturday, I believe. Keep pushing, keep sparking!! We can do it!!! emoticon
