Last week I took a short trip with my family to Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain, Georgia. We stayed overnight in a nice cottage on the property. There weren’t as many flowers blooming as there would have been in the spring, but we still saw some.
We did several activities, including going to a presentation about pollination, playing putt-putt golf, and watching some turtles.
They have a little chapel there, with beautiful stained glass windows showing the trees in different seasons.
My favorite part was going to the butterfly center. It’s a building that looks like a greenhouse, and there are hundreds of butterflies in there. You go in and they are flying all around you. It was hard to take pictures because they didn’t stay still, but here are a few I got.
