Hope Around The Corner
Sunday, September 01, 2019
August was filled with struggles and obstacles that tried to block my weight loss goals. Hope and faith in the end conquered and I ended the month with a 3 lbs loss as well as 5.75 inches lost and I would call that successful. It’s not the numbers I would ideally aspired for of course, but it ended with a loss instead of a gain.
I have further given myself a challenge for the month of September which is an attempt to get myself out of the 330’s which have been my nemesis for all of 2019. I am unsure why but the 330’s have been the same 10 pounds I have lost and gained all year long but for some reason I have had the inability to move past this obstacle.
I challenge myself to a 30/30 challenge which is 30 Days 30 miles of Leslie Sansone for the month of September. I am hoping not only to get out of the 330’s for myself but to bring about change for myself in many ways in these 30 days that will follow me on my journey and remind me of the hope and faith I have placed in myself to change. It’s easy to say you want this or want that. But more difficult to effect change upon yourself or any other person with lasting benefits.
If you are unhappy with being overweight and want to be a healthier version of yourself make one small change with lasting results. Just start 1 small thing to take that first step to providing self-love self-care for yourself. Become your own best friend and love yourself enough to be wiser and healthier for yourself and your future.
This 30/30 Challenge to myself means so many things really.....it's about being disciplined, consistent and making a promise of health to myself. Let's see what we can achieve in 30 days!
