Two weeks since I last blogged, or sparked at all.
Myrtle Beach was great. We were just ahead of the hurricane warnings, and the last night there we got a notice that MB was under mandatory evacuation.
I checked with our hotel and they said it was for noon the next day, so we were good. It was an low key trip, we didnt do much of anything really other than enjoy the beach, the last day there the surf was up so far that we had to put our chairs up against the fence.
But it was nice to just relax, and yes, I did over eat and ate alot of things i should have left alone.
There was a Dunkin Donuts INSIDE our hotel, so I will just leave it at that!!!
So, time to pay the piper.
I have walked a few times since coming back, but the first few days I was so exhausted.
Partially from the long drive back, and unpacking, doing laundry, etc
and I believe alot of it was because of eating high number of carbs when I had been low low carb for weeks.
I am struggling to kick carbs back to the curb.
I am so looking forward to cooler temps despite that it begins comfort food season, I invested in an insta pot and going to try out some keto recipes.
