Time for Game Night!
Saturday, September 14, 2019
A quiet Saturday and had several hours to myself to work through the Bible study lessons for Wednesday. Interesting how just walking through the first several chapters of Genesis offered more than the basic story for me. It touched on things both kids are dealing with right now. God is good!
I spent several hours assisting Isaac with school assignments too. Got most done before he left with Patrick and then we finished up what we could do after he'd finished the lawn mowing and took a shower. He's planning to go to his friend Nate's house tomorrow afternoon.
Tim's been working on small electrical projects today as there isn't a ton he can do right now. He's about worked himself out of work until $$$ shows up for things like a bathtub, doors.... He heads back to Reno tomorrow evening.
Tonight is game night and Tayler is able to join us so he and Isaac will play a couple games of WWE and then he'll switch to whatever board or card games the rest of decide to play. Will make for a fun evening.
I am planning to hit the craft store on Monday morning as I would like to get 2-3 scarecrows and a couple small hay bales for the front porch. Our previous scarecrows had finally fallen apart after about 8 years of weather. Michael's is having a good sale right now on fall items and I have a 40% or more coupon I can use. Pumpkins will follow later once the markets are stocking them.
This is something I would love to do, but it's not like I can just go "borrow" a wagon wheel from someone's yard!
Crafty people....any ideas on a cheap alternate?
