First of all, TODAY I am really trying to be more positive. My mind really went another way yesterday. And that is situational with people in my life. And will probably happen again and I need to figure out how to deal with it.
Ok, today! I did a lower body work out today at the gym. Inner hip abductions (inner): 85# 10, 90# 10, 100# 30. Hip abductions (outter): 85# 10, 90# 10, 100# 50. Back extension: 85# 10, 90# 10, 95# 10, then stretch back and pecks out by laying on stability ball and stretching. Seated leg curl: 10# 10, 30# 30, 35# 10, 40# 10. Seated leg press: 50# 50, 60# 50. Calves on the seated leg press: 60# 20, 10, 10. I do sets of 20 or 10 and various reps to push my muscles. I try to up the amount of weight I do to keep pushing my muscles. This took me about 50 minutes to do all of this today. Tomorrow I will have to start later in the day and will be doing cardio. I could do the old trusty recumbent bike.....MAYBE I will see if I can do one of the other elliptical machines. Then go back to that bike if I have issues. I am trying to mix it up and go outside my box and make myself uncomfortable but not in a dangerous way. I dream to run. I have never been allowed to. Heart issues. But a girl can dream.
I have needed a lot of sleep. I am not tired, but am sleepy. I have been going to bed earlier. Maybe just still adjusting to waking up earlier. Who knows.
So, I will put this question on here as well as post it on the main page. Anyone that has lost 100+ lbs I am wondering how their skin was at what time intervals. I have a long way to go yet, but am watching my body shrink and am really wondering what will stay and what will eventually go away. I wonder about my tummy apron. Will it eventually go away? Will it shrivel? Will it eventually all snap back? I am going to be 47 in December. I am doing my best to drink about a gallon a day. And have always kinda done that. I have always been a steady weight up until losing. I used to be tiny before the kids. So I do have massive stretch marks. And I think I am ok with those. I just wonder about my belly, and the back of my upper arms. I do drink collagen too. I try to keep things moisturized. I know I am not going to look perfect. But I just wonder if over time, will everything go back to before kids? Or will it be saggy and baggy and shrivelly? I know everyone is different. I just am very curious to see what has happened to as many people as possible. And this is for people who lost 100+ pounds or around that. I keep thinking about the movie Click. And the pancake belly he can fan himself with. Will it be like that??
Ok, food... I have re started making my break fast coffee with bold black coffee, 2 T cream, 2 sweetener packs, 2 T benefiber, and 2 T collagen. I may start playing with the amounts of the fiber and collagen. Right now I do those to fit into my macros.
Dinner last night I will call smothered chicken thighs. And it was yummy!
Not the prettiest. But very yummy. It was garlic alfredo sauce with mushrooms and water chestnuts over oven baked boneless skinless chicken thighs. Sugar free jello for desert. Yum.
I feel anxiety about tomorrow being Friday for some reason. Not sure why yet though.
Not quite sure what I will make tomorrow, maybe something cabbage based. OR BURGERS! YES burgers! That way I can keep on the produce in the frig. Thus is why I am doing mushroom caps again tonight. I forgot I had gotten 2 packs of mushroom caps. And didn't realize they each had 10! in the pack. I thought it was 5 or 6 per pack. Well mushrooms like those go slimy and stinky and gross if you don't eat them in time so I will make stuffed mushrooms again tonight with a side of asparagus. I may make some egg bites tomorrow morning. I will think about it. Depends on my mood.
Update. I believe I posted that I made pickled eggs two weeks ago. Well I had never had them, and I am too CHICKEN to try them. I think I would try them but the texture of the eggs are like a super ball! Is that normal? Luckily I've gotten other people to eat them and maybe I wont do that again. Stick to other types of eggs.
