Day 271: Sep 29 Task Plan

Well, it's been awhile. In the meantime, I enjoyed a thoroughly entertaining adventure exploring Colorado - a Narrow Gauge Railroad ride, discovering old west towns, transiting an ice tunnel, exploring a few ghost town sites, off-roading in some truly lovely scenery, investigating old mines across several towns as well as enjoying the night life, skimming through the night skies on Gondolas and hiking the ski slopes of Telluride.

And, then, while cruising along a creek shore for some interesting pics, I took my fave pic of the whole trip



...by falling and breaking my leg!



Fortunately for me, the break is as innocuous as possible and I shouldn't be 'down' for long.

Unfortunately for me, last week, after a perfectly lovely day of off-roading and mine exploring (I stayed in the vehicle), I awoke SO ill - severe pain in my right side, body-wracking shivers, nausea, and light-headedness whenever I was upright. I lost two days in an absolute fog of simply surviving...and now, I'm well on the road to recovery, so that is good !

And, now, to get back on track....



WELLNESS
1. Gratitude
…..I spent a whole night in my very own bed
…..I was able to visit the ladies’ room in the night without any light-headedness
…..My DH – he doesn’t do ANYTHING in the way I prefer…but, he does try to do some things

2. Today, I want to:
…..Locate a walker so I may begin next week putting a little body weight on my broken leg

3. The one thing that would make today a great day:
….. Complete the prescribed stretches for my broken leg

HOME
1. Housework Tasks:
…..Gather / Wash laundry

2. Special Project:
…..Cull mail

FINANCES
…..Ensure bills are up to date

ERRANDS
…..Hopefully, I’ll need to run out and pick up a walker

…..An hour of reading
