Starting another healthy week.
I'm looking over my progress I have made over the last 13 years I have been with Sparkpeople.
I am very happy with the new habits I have stuck with, it has been a very interesting journey..
I never thought I would look forward to exercise, enjoy finding healthy foods and new recipes to keep things healthy and fun...
I never thought I could give up fast foods...When I worked we ate fast junk food everyday... I managed to get my weight up to 350 pounds.... I spent most of my adult life over 300 pounds..I'm blessed to still be alive. and healthy... as I have posted many times, I am 66, soon to be 67,(NOV) and I have normal blood pressure, normal cholesterol, and not diabetic.... I take no medications....Sorry if you are tired of me blowing my own horn, but I think we should remind our selves how far we have come... I still battle with my weight.. I'm on the down side again...Hoping to get back to my goal weight, but no matter I'll never give up...
I'm lucky I have a very supportive husband , who loves carbs but does understand we can still eat yummy food with lower carbs....Thank you sweetheart...

So last week I started plan our meals to have 10 servings of veggies a day, it's really not that hard...in fact I have days when I had 12 or 13 servings....Lucky I love most veggies...so we will continue as we are...Husband like it cus he lost 5 pounds this week..... he also has joined me walking in the morning....he rides his bike 20 miles a day...and he is 70.....

So what will you do this week to make your self healthier......it's up to you..
