Busy Caregiver!

Wednesday, October 30, 2019

Hello my Sparky Friends!
I have missed reaching out to all of you, and appreciate seeing those supportive comments that pop up for me! Thanks a million! :-)
It has been a challenging year. I continue to be a full time caregiver for my mother who is on hospice services. She is 93, soon to be 94 the end of the year. Although she is completely bedridden, and has been for the last few months, her spirits are good and she is such a sweetie. I'm so blessed to have this time with her and serve her.
Keeping up with exercise has been a challenge due to surgeries, and recovery time that didn't fit my time schedule! LOL! As if recovery EVER fits our time frame! I am grateful I can walk! I'm grateful I can ride my bike when the weather allows, and I am grateful for so much that I can't write it all down here! Cute hubby has been an absolute gem, and don't know what I would do without him to cheer me on and support me in everything. What a blessing!
Well, I need to get going. This is a journey to take care of ourselves no matter what comes along. So worth it!
Love all my sparky friends! Keep up the great work all!
Judy

Good for you for your positive attitude while walking through this difficult season of life. It can be hard to take care of yourself while you're taking care of someone else. Know that if you ever need a little word of encouragement, you can always find it here!!!
