Keeping It Simple On My Own
Friday, November 01, 2019
On July 20, I began a challenge and weighed in at 220.8. I had to really fight myself mentally for allowing myself to get that heavy. However, the "good" news is that I had weighed approximately that last year at my PCP visit, so I apparently hadn't put on any more than that.
At the end of that challenge, I was at 214.6# - a weight loss of 6.2#. That was on October 12. I've seen lower numbers on the scale since then, but not a bunch. I'm okay with that.
I have diligently recorded my water and I attempt to have a banana at breakfast [2 servings of fruit!] and an apple later in the day [again, usually 2 servings!]. I try to get seasonal veggies in at lunch and supper. I am allowing myself an evening treat, and right now it is a single-serve yogurt.
I've been thinking about where I personally would like to be by the end of 2019. This is November 1 and that gives me 8 1/2 weeks. I am not going to push it, so I am not setting a goal of 200 or below as I first thought. I think a goal to be in the 20_s would be doable for me, especially considering the holidays, etc.
I felt the need to "get this written down" and so here is the blog post about it.
