Tired today. Slightly concerned about someone.
Today I made a pot roast in the crock pot. We will have roasted Brussels sprouts and mashed cauliflower. It smells amazing I gotta say. It makes me wanna eat it early. BUT must wait until dinner time.
Man am I tired today. I went to bed last night with an upset belly. And this morning it felt even worse. I took care of myself and feel alright right now. But it doesn't feel gone. I really feel like I need a good deep nap.
I ordered a vacuum sealer at the advice of someone. I did this in hopes that shipping cookies this winter will go well. I AM looking for advice on shipping cookies and other treats. I have read how to pack them, but never thought of a vacuum sealer. I guess I shouldn't suck all the air out and keep a half a piece of bread in with them. I am looking to get them to a location that will take a few days to get to and I would like them to stay soft for cookies and not rock hard for candy like turtles. I do this every year for people in my life. I do it for my birthday as a gift to myself. To make and give to see others be happy. So has anyone shipped food? How did you do it? Any hacks or tips? I will be using FEDEX or UPS NOT the post office due to the address. Post office wont deliver there only UPS or FEDEX. I know to use packing material between containers. Use parchment or wax paper between layers. Maybe use cupcake liners. I don't want the cookies broken either. I have tins and tupperware type containers that are square and I have round jars with tight fitting lids. Any secrets would be most helpful. I give stuff away so I don't eat it! hahaha.
