Sorry for the delay!

My liver biopsy turned out really well. The swelling went down and no signs of any kind of damage! YEA!!

BAd news is my liver numbers are still horribly high. I;ve given up drinking, I can't take Tylenol, I can't take my migraine pills because they have Tylenol in them. I can't take naproxsen twice a day like I was for my lupus and fibromyalgia. I have to start cutting back on my psychiatric meds which is very scary because I have been on them for over 11 years and I'm doing quite well.

I have to get liver tests done once a month for the next 3 months. this wll be difficult because I have very small veins, they roll and i bruise horribly. but I'm determined to get the numbers down!

I've been a little depressed over this lately but I'm determined to get moving and stay positive from here on out. It's just difficult in the winter because my Dad never leaves the house so I have to do all my exercising in the kitchen or my parents bedroom. I can never exercise in the living room because he camps out there all winter long.

okay sorry for the rant. the good news also is that my cholesterol and fasting glucose and A1C was all perfect and my number that indicts lupus is its lowest ever thanks to some aggressive treatment.

Well I am off to stertech and warm up my joints. If anyone knows anything else to decreasesky high liver numbers or has dealt with it in the past or just wants to comment I would really appreciate it. I love all my Sparkfriends!
