day 7

Wednesday, November 06, 2019

So, its been a week today since I found out I have pneumonia. I started out/avoiding the hospital by agreeing to go to the clinic each morning for a couple of shots. That lasted for 3 days then I started the capsules.
I am beginning to feel somewhat better. I have really been staying home and doing as little to exert myself as possible. But yesterday I did go vote and pick up a few things from the store.
Today I am going to focus on doing some house work.
Just the basics.
I am hoping these antibiotics are getting this bacteria cleaned out of my body and I can get back to "normal".
We are in for cold weather this weekend and i plan on staying in under a warm blanket and hoping the tv/internet doesnt go out for 12 hours like it has the last two weekends in a row.
That is about all I have to report.
Stay healthy folks. Avoid sick people, if possible, and wash your hands.

I had bronchitis ages ago. It felt like a cold at first, and probably was, then some bacteria hit me when I was down. I usually just nurse myself back to health, take it easy and give it time. But I had a bad fever, was sweating, felt dizzy, and weak.

My roommate drove me to a clinic, I got antibiotics, and indeed in about 3 days I felt a lot better. Of course I didn't stop taking the medication, you aren't supposed to or you can contribute to generating bacterial strains that are antibiotic resistant. Take the dose over the prescribed time.

But feeling somewhat better at day 3 is about right. You'll feel better with each passing day.
