"Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom." (Marcel Proust)
Hello, my lovely friends!
Today is a very special day because we went downtown to go see, “The Phantom of the Opera”. The play has been stopping in Denver since 1992 and has been here seven times and we’ve been all seven times. It started way back when I was in high school, my Auntie Bernadette asked what I would like for graduation and I said I wanted to see, “The Phantom of the Opera’ and at that time it wasn’t touring and I told her I would wait and I did for over a year and it was worth it. It has been a tradition to see it every time it comes and sometimes my Dad was with us, other family members or friends, but I’ve always seen it with my Mom. I love musicals, but this is hands down my #1 of all time.
The last time we went was about two years ago and they changed it and we didn’t like the changes and that’s the same production that is playing now, but it’s tradition and you can’t beat hearing the music and people singing live in person. It really is an amazing soundtrack that I could listen to all day and night. This is a new production that I'm not too crazy about, but still love it. The guy that played the Phantom was the best I’ve ever seen, he was incredible! If you’ve never seen it and it comes I would HIGHLY recommend that you go because it’s incredible to see live.
